The mission of the West Seattle Crime Prevention Council, in partnership with the
Southwest Police Precinct, to promote crime prevention in all West Seattle Neighborhoods.
7:00 pm Greetings and introductions: Richard Miller
Recognition of all media persons.
7:10 pm Police reports and updates
7:30 pm Discussion of topics proposed by executive committee including but not limited to: Impact of budget cuts on SPD and City Attorney Liaison Program; Drug recognition training for police officers; traffic calming team.
Audience suggested topics.
This discussion is meant to identify issues as well as topics for future programs and speakers.
8:15 pm Future events:
Block Watch Captains meeting
Next Executive Committee meeting: November 1, 2011, 6 pm.
Next Meeting: November 15, 2011: Program will be presented by Chief of Metro Security, Lisa Mulligan. This program is under the King County Sheriff's Department.
